This training course satisfies the course requirements for South Carolina residents to apply for their Concealed Weapon Permit. It covers topics such as:
- Developing a Personal and Home Defense Plan
- Self-Defense Firearm Basics Shooting Fundamentals
- The Legal Use of Force
- Violent Encounters and the Aftermath
- Self-Defense Gear
It is designed for women who are brand new to gun handling and ladies who are ready to enhance their defensive shooting abilities, tools, and mindset. This four-hour course introduces students to the fundamentals of shooting and helps improve their weapon firing skills in a specialized range facility. They will also learn about universal safety rules, situational awareness, common types of handguns, ammunition types, marksmanship skills, advanced firearms handling, defensive pistol fundamentals, and the use of deadly force.
Three Distinct Levels The following course levels can be separated or used in combination:
- Women’s Basic Pistol Women’s
- Intermediate Pistol
- Women’s Defensive Pistol
Educating children on firearms isn’t something we should leave just to anyone. This class helps teach parents how to talk to their kids about firearms. Specifically designed for ALL age groups and helps make safety a family priority.

The USCCA’s premier Emergency First Aid Fundamentals Class teaches you basic first aid and lifesaving techniques to be used in the event of a medical emergency. You will learn how to: Properly assess a patient Stop venous and arterial bleeding Clear a compromised airway Respond to head, chest, and spinal injuries, broken bones, burns, heart attacks, seizures, strokes, and more Build your own travel First Aid/Trauma Kit
